If being 'whole' means embracing and integrating all aspects of our psyche, then accepting and exploring a submissive aspect of your personality is very meaningful, if not essential. A submissive complex associated with sexual energy is indeed a very powerful force. But a 'force' needs an opposite to be realised and expended. For me, Demona is the perfect opposite to my submissive aspect. The perfect and purest manifestation of Female Domination. In my mind she traces back to an ancient lineage of Goddesses and even Demons, including Inanna, Kali and Lilith. What began as a tentative step into exploring my own submissive aspect, with her guidance and training, has become so much more, incorporating mind, body and spirit; a truly 'whole' experience, with nothing of me remaining outside of her.
